Awaken is an online community featuring weekly grief groups and course designed for bereaved women. With live classes, guided meditations, journaling prompts, and a private online community, you'll gain tools to support emotional healing and practical coping. If you are grieving the death of someone and are looking for structure, connection, and compassionate guidance, this is the place to start.

Private Mindfulness-Based Grief Counseling

Get one-on-one support tailored to your unique experience of grief

These private sessions are for people who want to go deeper in a safe, confidential space. Whether you're facing the loss of a loved one or struggling with chronic sorrow, you'll receive personalized guidance grounded in mindfulness, attachment theory, and real-world tools. This isn’t talk therapy—it's a space to be seen, heard, and supported as you begin to heal.

Private Divorce Grief Coaching

Rebuild your identity and life after the end of a relationship

Divorce and relationship loss are often overlooked forms of grief—but they deserve just as much care. These coaching sessions are designed to help you process the emotional pain, adjust to major life changes, and reconnect with your values. Together, we'll explore and reprogram your attachment patterns, help you set boundaries, and move toward a secure, grounded sense of self.

Why work with me...

Compassionate support and training for those who support others

With over 20 years supporting people through loss, I'm here to help you navigate your own path—not someone else's roadmap. I'm the author of Navigating Loss, Living With Grief, and From Grief to Peace, and the recipient of the 2025 Clinical Practice Award from the Association for Death Education and Counseling.

My work integrates the science of grief (thanatology) with embodied practices like mindfulness, journaling, and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. I'm also a certified Integrated Attachment Theory Coach, helping you understand and heal attachment wounds so you can feel more secure in yourself and your relationships.

This is compassionate, research-informed support for the full spectrum of grief.
