Inspired by my own journey of love, loss, & posttraumatic growth.

When I was just 7 years old my mother took me out of school and told me that my uncle had died by suicide. That moment was not only heartbreaking, but was the start of a grief journey that would include many losses coupled with a desire to help others navigate the mine field of grief.

The 5 Stages of Grief are not what pop culture makes them out to be. Dr. Kubler-Ross addressed that herself in the introduction to her seminal book.
